called to shine

Our wonderful, incredible, awe inspiring Lord has called us.

He has called us to love, to serve, to fight the good fight.

He has called each and every one of His sons and daughters to a purpose. We all have different gifts we can use to glorify our King; whether it be the ability to sing, to write, to speak, to minister, to serve, or to go. God will take you where you are, when you are, how you are, and He WILL use you. You only have to let Him.

"And he shall call them, the holy people, the redeemed of the Lord: and thou shalt be called, sought out, a city not forsaken."

Isaiah 62:12

His calling cannot be ignored. It cannot be set aside for later. It will pull at your heart over and over and over again. It will be the one thing you are sure you MUST do.

Your heavenly Father will be the one who opens the doors when the time is right, be sure of that. I am as impatient as all get out, believe me. But even when you feel like you can't wait, trust Him. He will never forsake His children. Trust your future to the one who made the stars. Trust your future to the one who made you.

Once every door is opened, once you take that step and dive into what He has you to do completely and utterly, once you are doing His work, do not stop. Do not faint.

Let this verse be our anthem, may we not rest until we have finished the race set before us.

"For Zion's sake will I not hold my peace and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth."

Isaiah 62:1

May we burn, may we shine, and may we live for Him.

God made you for a reason. Don't let others put you down because you're too young, you don't have enough money, you don't have enough platform, or know-how.

All you have to do is be you. Be bright, be loud, be loving. Be who He made you to be and I promise God will do something big.
